The Gardner 500 starts tomorrow. That's right family. I hope you are all in shape and ready to put in the miles.
For those of you asking what is the Gardner 500 let me explain. I have challenged my family to do 500 miles in the month of June. Adults can get miles by walking or running. My nieces and nephews can ride their bikes too. Over the past few weeks all I have gathered all the pledged miles. We have exactly 500 miles pledged for the month.
So family put on those running/walking shoes and hit the pavement. Don't forget you are allowed to log more miles then you pledged (which would help out for those on bed rest, vacations, etc.)

Hooray you finally posted. Yeah, I feel really bad I am abandoning you guys. Stupid bedrest. Hey, maybe I could count contractions instead of miles? :) Go team Go!
What a wonderful idea. My goal this year is to walk the equivalent of 50 marathons. It is essentially the distance from Centerville to Nauvoo and then down to Carthage. In my pretend trek, I am in the middle of Nebraska right now. Go Gardners go!
