Fall Colors

I have spent much time on the road these past few months admiring the beautiful scenery of Alaska. Two trips to Anchorage to attend the temple. We have a mini temple so it is only open part of the week, mostly in the evenings. Here is a picture of the temple from my last trip to Anchorage.

A couple of weeks ago, mid-September, I went to Nenana to give a talk to the little branch there. There were 28 people in church including myself and the member of the Stake Presidency, was also a visiting speaker. It took me back to the mission days, especially Alcazar and Parla. The drive was peaceful. The leaves on the trees were in full color and beautiful. Here are a few pictures from my drive. Nenana is about 1 hour south of Fairbanks.

Wow it looks so beautiful. I love the color of the fall leaves. Don't expect any of that when you come to visit...just bring your shorts and tee's! :)

Those pictures are beautiful. We've been on a search recently to find the most beautiful fall colors. It looks like one of these years we'll have to head up to Alaska in the fall.
