I am very grateful to the man in the Lowe's parking lot who came to my defense a couple of days ago. Let me paint the picture. I was in the parking lot getting ready to back out. I in the third parking space closest to the building. I had looked both directions and started to back out as I am backing out the break lights of the truck opposite me turned on, but the driver did not start to back out. (In fact this is the man who came to my rescue). Then out of the blue a car flies around the corner, barrelling down the aisle and almost slams into my car. The person lays on their horn getting mad at me and I have slammed on my breaks. The car proceeds to fly into a parking space. I use the word fly because the person was going way to fast.
Of course, I am frazzled so I pulled back into the parking spot. I am frazzled that the person in the car who almost slammed into me is going to come and yell at me. I notice the man in the truck has put on his break lights and is pulling out. Once he is in the ailse he gets out of his car and stops the people who were in the car and yells at them in my defense. He tells them that they are driving too fast, to stop their road rage, that they need to drive slowly in parking lots, and that I was already backing out before they started coming down the ailse and that they need to lay off. It was great.
Good to know that there are other people out there with my back.
